Sunday, April 10 - Family Day
Hi,
We are Amber and Indy,
we are going to tell you something about our family day.
The family day began around 1 o’clock.
We met each other at the parking place
in the forest. We walked in the forest
around 1 hour. We walked through the
Wupper, that is a river in Wuppertal.
There were a lot of beautiful places.
There was a place where we went over
the water with a kind of ferry.
We had a lot of fun when we were on
our way. The brothers of our matches
joined us. When we arrived in
Schloss Burg we went with a Seilbahn
upstairs to a castle. The castle was very
big and interesting. When we were done
with visiting the castle, we went
downstairs again with the Seilbahn
and we ate an ice cream. After eating
an ice cream we walked back to the car.
It was a nice but exhausting day.
Bye, we see everyone soon!
Monday, April 11 - My first school day in Germany
In the morning
I had to get up at 06:00 to get ready for school. The time to get up to school is different, because we have to walk to school. It takes 18 minutes to walk from the host house to school. The streets are steep so it’s a bit hard to walk up.
At 8.00 we had to be at school for the school tour. There was a school tour; the school is large and you have much activities to do (for example table tennis).
In the afternoon
We had to watch some presentations about sustainability. I thought the most interesting presentation was about suspention railway, I’ve learned a lot about it.
At 15.00 we had a sportday. The sport we’ve played was hockey, I was really glad with that sport! I love hockey.
At night
I went climbing with my match, her father and sister. I think climbing is a really hard sport, because you have to be strong.

Daily report Thursday 14th of April
In the morning we went to a busstop and waited for the other people.
A few minutes later we were walking to a nice forest.
The whole group splitted in two groups, one group was ‘water’ and one group was ‘wood’. We talked and learned about sustainable things.
At 12.00 we had a bbq and ate some meat and bread. After the forest we went to the city in Wuppertal.
In Wuppertal we had to answer questions about the city. If you finished the questions, you could buy an ice cream.
It was a nice day and we learned a lot about sustainability.
